I found this moving. I have a love affair with my converse too.

Piping up on the HCB convo to say warmed is better than toasted, and cold can be better than toasted if the bun is fresh and a good one, but cold is never better than warmed. Also, without fruit it's just a bread roll, and chocolate has no place here.

I’ve just finished a term of road patrol parent/caregiver help and I can honestly say that people need to slow down when driving around schools. This was a very suburban school on a side road. Even when they’re dropping children off people drive too fast.

I don't like the way 'haha take that, haters' is a common response to Jacinda Ardern's achievements. It's like saying 'not a drag queen' in response to abusers being arrested. The ongoing connection perpetuates the negative messaging.
