I really wanna tell all these bigots complaining about gender and sexuality in farming sims that any character in any game could be bi or trans or queer in some way, and they just don't know it, so I guess they should just stop playing games altogether 🤷‍♂️

One of the farming sims I play, people have been complaining from the start that the player has no gender option. Except half the people complain the hair/clothes options & tiny pixel model is very obviously feminine, while the other half complain it's very obviously masculine

I think that there are a few things cis people can learn from trans people like. in general. such as: you can name yourself whatever you want. go ahead, it's fun. you can actually wear whatever you want. you can get a little goofy with presentation and still be whatever you want.

One thing I love about games with romanceable characters is that every character is someone's favorite. The one you don't like? Someone's fave. That side character who's not romanceable? Prob someone's fave. Your fave? Also someone else's fave.

Sometimes I think about responding to assholes on the internet. Then I remember it's usually better to just ignore them, let them throw their tantrum and realize no one is going to give them any attention for it.
