Signed the lease on my new apartment today. It's all mine once I finish this latest short stint in another nursing home. I just want to say thank you to anyone who helped. Be it financially, in words, or just in vibes. Toughest fucking year and I'm fighting the entire way (with so much help).

One good thing about this whole situation: because my job's fiscal year starts in July I'm 100% meeting my insurance deductible literally two days into the "year".

So fun times. My insurance has ended coverage for my inpatient physical therapy, and I'm now having to scramble for accessible housing while my body is still recovering. I'm pretty allergic to asking for help, but my savings are pretty much gone after the last like six months of medical issues.
