Dahlgren Chapel on the Georgetown U campus appears in both THE EXORCIST and EXORCIST III. In particular, I love the shot in III where helicopters are flying overhead. Compare the photo from yesterday (left) to my 2023 visit (right) when the entire view was obstructed by a giant tent!

Found a few Exorcist locations I missed on my first visit in 2023, like this foot bridge where Father Karras and Chris MacNeil meet for the first time.

Squeezed in a few Exorcist locations while passing through Georgetown, D.C.

Stopped by the former location of the Rustin Parr house from the end of #BlairWitchProject. Long since demolished, only chunks of the foundation still remain.

Awesome brunch at Busboys and Poets in DC (K Street location). Great food, books and an atmosphere that emphasizes community and social justice. A favorite when we're in the area.

Despite our misfortune today (car problems), a complete stranger kindly helped us and a mechanic worked late to get us fixed up again. Even though the world is a bit bonkers right now, people can still be very kind and generous. And that should be appreciated more.

Blair Witch was a little passive aggressive today, derailing our location visits with some unexpected car troubles. But we'll resume our travels tomorrow!

Checked into the roadside motel from the #BlairWitchProject. They'd told us we could get the same room Heather, Josh and Mike stayed in, but now told it's not available. Look man, we wanted to stay in THAT crappy room, not THIS crappy room! 😜

Tonight, I saw Grace Zabriskie in NORMA RAE (1979), considered her first major film/TV appearance. Her wikipedia entry is fascinating, featuring intersections in her early life with Discordianism founder Kerry Thornley and New Orleans D.A. Jim Garrison (well-known to JFK assassination buffs).
