Use Proxy media. You don't have to Proxy everything but for your main subject get a 1/4 or 1/2 resolution proxy version. They have massive file sizes but if you have the storage its worth it for the ease of playback. Low resolution is fine because you can tick between them with 1 click.

This game is a dream come true for fans of deep movement systems and freedom. It's incredibly ambitious and evolves on the Bowser's Fury concept in some awe-inspiring ways. I spent roughly 30 hours completing it 100%. $20? An absolute STEAL for this kind of game given the breadth of content.
