Got the tattoo. Smaller version. It was strange. The colour hurt, felt like being cut slowly but not unpleasantly and that has freaked me out a bit.

...I can just see me getting this thing so he doesnt feel bad and hating it for the rest of my life. The only mitigation I can think of is to turn up absolutely shit face drunk and hope he wont do it. But then everyone has a drunk tattoo.

My husband just sent me a picture of a tattoo done in dedication to me. It is a little frog (there is a frog back story) I am so touched at such a lasting gesture. He has now booked me in so it can be his and hers and I dont have the heart to tell him I love the gesture but hate the tattoo style.

....and I keep interupting. Totally invested in it all, and forgeting it is an oral history and so I am giving it all a running commentary all "OOh" and "Noooo" quite a few "Blimey" I should have done medieval history and I could have just been stoopid in latin and quietly.

Listening to my Oral History discussions for audio clips and in fear of dying of cringe. I cracked an awful joke on one, it was shit and (mercifully) no reaction, but I kept chuckling at it for 38seconds. I am such an idiot. Listening to these has finally killed off any self confidence.

Got a happy haul of 6 books from WoB - amazing quality. £23. All second hand. I cannot believe (and a bit sus of) people that have books and dont write their name on them, or doodle on the pages or underline stuff. Its an interactive relationship and journey. New slippers too. A very happy Monday.
