What’s striking is how suddenly the aura of inevitability around Trump has evaporated. A movement can survive scandal, but it can’t survive losing its own believers. The fractures you’re describing are the kind that don’t mend.

Look, I understand the skepticism, but there are lots of reasons to think that Trump could be cooked. The Epstein Files almost certainly contain further evidence that Trump sexually abused children. His coalition is already in various stages of fracturing. He’s in a very weak position.
