I'm seeing a lot of backlash over Stranger Things showing the arcade version of Ghosts 'n Goblins rather than the NES port. I know some older people like myself have fond memories of it, but that Micronics developed port doesn't hold up at all and is it legit terrible lol. I don't mind.

While the HD master for Harmagedon/Genma Taisen is matted to widescreen, the LaserDisc release is open matte with a lot more shown on the top and bottom. Despite being made for theaters, I found many shots to be better framed for 4:3 than widescreen. Stay tuned!

I know I've had some improvements to the sound engine I would like to backport to my previous ports, but the sound via the emulator is never going to be perfect. I'll probably do msu1 clean versions going forward, but I don't know if I'll go back and add them to my previous ports.
