I recently set up Groovy MiSTer, which acts as a display for Groovy MAME running on a PC. It's a brilliant setup that bypasses the PC's laggy video subsystem entirely. It's an easy thing to set up, but I felt an up to date concise (written!) guide might be handy for some people. So I wrote one.

The PC Engine version of this game was so, so good.

Copped a big hit from the storm today. A dozen dents on my car from the hail and so much water came in through the window of my hoise there were wet boxes above my head, and I'm tall. Pools of water on the floor, and on my arcade cabs. Water literally pouring off arcade PCBs when I pick them up.

My first post-tariff package to the USA cleared customs today. Zonos adds 2 fees: tariffs and their charges. They take my item valuation in AUD, convert it to USD, then calculate 10%, convert it back to AUD and charge me. This 2x conversion adds $0.07 on $3. I'm sure that's intentional.
