I have many opinions, most of which are extremely divisive and will have several people here screaming for my blood, adding me to block lists, and just in general wanting me dead. So of course I'm ready to spill them all. #1: Super Mario Bros. 3 is one of the most overrated videogames in history.

I'm Rob, and way back when I wrote Splatterhouse fanfiction. That's as close to published horror fiction I ever got. Favorite villain? The Terror Mask. That thing might seem like it wants to help Rick get Jennifer back, but it has its own agenda.

I take time off as needed. Today, instead of writing, I played videogames for a couple of hours. That helped.

Marketing, definitely. I'm never sure exactly how to promote my work.

Well, the antagonist of The Value of Flesh is under a mistaken assumption that the father of the girl he murdered cheated his father out of all of their money. Of course, in the end he suffers a fate worse than death thanks to the supernatural beings that infest Diamond Woods and West Mansion.

Technically, I can call myself a horror writer. However, what I wrote would be considered fanfiction, as way back when, I wrote some Splatterhouse stories. You can read them here: splatterhouse.kontek.net/fanfic.html They're old, so don't judge me too harshly. Favorite villain? The Terror Mask.

I spent an hour or so tonight talking to my 90 year old father about all the things I've done to become known as "the Splatterhouse guy." He sounded legitimately impressed. (just FYI, he's been playing videogames since the early '80s, and he's known what Splatterhouse was since 1990)

For the past few days, I have been in such pain that it's very hard to walk. And it's all focused in one area of my right leg. Not the knee, foot or hip, but somewhere deep inside none of those spots. Got to get this fixed. Anyone got any spare sets of T-800 legs lying around that they don't need?

Many years ago, I was at a bar. I was walking around, and these two women saw me. I was unsure of the vibe I was getting from them. So I went up to them and asked them the most philosophical question I could (I wish I could remember what it was). They answered. I thanked them. I walked away.
