As much as I loved hearing that Belgium had thrashed the USA in the World cup, it will be as nothing compared to the delight I will feel if Count Binface beats C*nt Toadface in the Clacton by election.

Nigel Farage has failed people in Clacton. Im certain I've done more work than him in the four months I've been here than he's done in two years. People in Clacton deserve so much more than this shameful stunt.

USA absolutely steamrollered by Belgium reminds me of Jesse Owens at the Munich Olympics. No, America is not "exceptional" Americans are not Ubermensch And, yes, it is hard not to see it as karma; schadenfreude in fact.

I know I am probably daft but I do love it when I hear a man casually refer to their husband without missing a beat and nobody reacts at all. I don't react either, not outwardly, but it makes me smile inside. We have come a long way since my childhood. It's not perfect but it is better. ๐ณ๏ธโ๐

Given trans people are less than 1% of the population, getting it wrong 4% of the time means you are 4x as likely to misgender a cis woman than spot someone is trans. This is without accounting for the effects of hormones, surgery etc. Absolute madness from the EHRC chair. A "human rights" body.

I don't buy into the, 'It's a sign of our dizzying national decline that Hammersmith bridge can't be used by motor vehicles' narrative. It's a 19th century grade II* listed suspension bridge, which simply won't take the cumulative weight of an endless succession of (up to) 18-tonne laden buses.
