We took the kid to see the Gabby’s Dollhouse movie, dressed her in the costume, the whole bit, and she had a great time. It was fun watching it with her. It’s the first movie she’s seen in the theater.

My youngest nieces boyfriend is well liked by the whole family, a snappy dresser, apparently really into City Pop (cool young people are into it, I think?) and I’m looking forward to meeting him.

I had a steak and huitlacoche taco at one of my favorite spots for lunch and it really hit the spot. Oddly, the taco I enjoyed most was the Mexican-style stewed brisket which I’ve missed. It’s a really underrated way to prepare brisket, the flavor and texture is wonderful.

Romance plot and a couple of dodgy effects aside Attack of the Clones has a lot going for it. Excellent set pieces, lots of action. There were a couple of spots where the opening day crowd went nuts that still hold up.
