Hell yes. I've been in this situation and 😭 There are also still a lot of places that don't really understand the difference between programmers, IT and customer technical support. They try to get one person or group that does all of those at once. Those are not the same skill sets!

I have seen this happen too. OLD C-suite gets tossed, new one comes in and suddenly every contract is being reassessed. I've been in meetings where even when the contract said NO the CEO and CFO asks if there are ways around the contract.
