the one week link in every monster catching game that isn't pokemon IMHO is the monster designs. You can make your monster catching thing a fully fleshed out RPG with a story, voice acting, combat, graphics, yadda yadda but if the monster designs don't click? Yea I ain't interested sorry.

Dungeons and Dragons is one of those weird cases where if I could just treat it as a random tabletop RPG it's honestly fine if not pretty good. Not for every kind of game or for everyone but it's got some stuff going for it.

Really though: I know it sucks to watch your character lose shit and have to deal with that. But there really isn't an exact science here and sometimes you need to just tank viability for the health of the game.

I think it's fine for anime to reboot and remix content the same way superheroes do. I loved the 90's Spider-man cartoon but still saw value in Spectacular and other Spider-man cartoons. Palworld is more like Ark survival apparently but if it's as good or better than Ark I dunno! It just know it just runs better than Pokemon Scarlet and Violet which isn't much of an accomplishment.

I feel like the problem with Palworld is that I never see anyone talking about its positives or good aspects in a vacuum. It's always as opposed to Pokemon's latest entry and its lackluster presentation which feels more like you're agenda posting than talking about a game you like.

I think that Ninjas are uniquely perfect as Videogame protagonists. 1) They're silent, which a lot of videogame protagonists are. 2) They're primarily known for killing things and traversing locations with agility. Again: very common for videogame protagonists.

The real issue with AI especially in the videogame industry is that algorithms have been used for decades and that's what AI is. Hell 'AI' initially referred to the actual algorithms enemies used in trying to oppose the player.
