been continuing to pick away at this in my spare time. had the realization earlier today that bringing in some mechanics from a genre i don’t particularly enjoy or play much of (bullet hells) could solve a *lot* of problems and i’m not sure how to feel about that?

the Assassin’s Creed movie. in part because the projector was messed up for like the first third of it, but also because the story was a complete trainwreck and the main character was deeply unlikable. wanted very badly to walk out but i was there with other folks.
