Today I discovered that ‘ostriche’, which I saw on an Italian menu, is not ‘ostriches’. I also managed to negotiate with a train manager and several passengers (in Italian and French) after the seat reservations went awry (there was a missing carriage). All sorted and seated in the end! #languages
