I'm appalled but unfortunately unsurprised to hear that ICE is targeting my neighbors in Rogers Park today. Unidentifiable and unaccountable agents are roaming the streets with their faces covered targeting schools and community centers. It needs to end. Abolish ICE.

Whether they're blaming vaccines and Tylenol, or selling dubious "remedies," what they're really doing is promoting the perception that families (and especially mothers) can prevent and treat Autism. And thus also the perception that people with Autism and their families don't need social support.

I think the part that pisses me off the most is this idea that autism is so horrible you must do anything possible to avoid it happening to your child. And also, all the focus on kids. Do they all magically stop being autistic when they grow up? Or do autistic adults not matter? 🤬🤬🤬🤬

Just heads up Many times when kids are undergoing cancer treatment, it can wipe out the effectiveness of their baby shots. So when people don’t vax their children, it puts our cancer kids in serious life threatening situations. Their little bodies are already immune compromised from the chemo.

I don’t know how ICE agents sleep at night, but this right here is absolutely heartless! They detained two parents and their 22-year-old son outside Chicago while the family was on their way to celebrate their 10-year-old’s birthday.

We’re protesting outside the Broadview ICE facility and an agent came out to tell us to go away. We said we’re exercising our First Amendment rights so he shot the ground with pepper balls and said, “Your First Amendment rights are on the sidewalk.”

The fact that Matthew Dowd lost his job for pointing out Charlie Kirk’s hate speech, while Brian Kilmeade openly suggests we should euthanize the homeless and there is zero outrage, shows exactly what is terribly wrong with today’s political mainstream media.

Illinois Governor JB Pritzker has signed an executive order which permits pharmacists and other medical personnel to administer vaccines recommended by state officials, no prior prescription needed. The order also requires insurance companies to cover the vaccines.

We’re peacefully protesting for our neighbors. What does ICE do? Pick us up and throw us on the ground. No arrest, no identification, no process.

Though the FDA narrowed criteria for the shots, many people still want them, to avoid illness and protect vulnerable family members. Some are turned down at the pharmacy or have to jump through hoops.

May we all be prepared to meet the urgency of the moment, when our own challenge arrives.
