25. Spirited Away (9.5/10) A masterclass in both environmental storytelling and character development. This movie had me engaged the whole way through, and there wasn’t a single character I outright disliked. Highly recommend this one if you haven’t watched it already.

I wish I could make longer posts on here because I want to share my entire thoughts on the digital circus finale but I have too much to say about multiple things and also it sucks that a good chunk of people who saw the finale didn’t understand the message it was trying to convey.

There's something really frustrating to me about how people complain about characters being outwardly, obviously trans because they don't want it to feel so "unnatural" and leave nothing to be figured out. But then every SINGLE TIME a character dosen't explicitly say it, nobody believes it.

looking at these reviews feels so unfortunate because it seems like a lot of people looked at the show in the classic fandom sense of "this HAS to be a character ensemble show and if my favorite character doesnt get a bunch of screentime its BAD" rather than A Show Actually Trying To Tell A Story

Just finished the digital circus finale and I have to say, Gooseworx stuck the landing and make a fantastic show with a wonderful conclusion. Absolute GREAT stuff. I’d say more but I wanna wait a bit until it’s been out to talk too much about it

Kids who desperately need community - trans kids, queer kids in general, neurodivergent kids, disabled kids, abused kids, etc - will suffer because of this. The Internet is often the only place they can find other people like them and realize they're not broken or alone.

Random vent/rant post: sometimes I get a bit discouraged looking at other people’s art that are the same age as me or younger than me and realizing I’m so far behind, but at the same time, it helps me realize I can eventually reach that level hopefully and be proud that I’m still creating.
