Little and large... The Titan crane at Fairfield's Govan yard stands sentinel over Elder Park in this 1930s postcard. The crane, the largest on the Clyde, was built in 1911 by Sir William Arrol & Co, and could lift 280 tons. It was demolished in 2007.
