Appreciate @takeittothehoutz.bsky.social for posting snippets from the Dolphins presser. I do like what I’m hearing. Sounds like men with a vision who want to establish an identity. That being said you’ll have to excuse me if I humbly remain cautiously pessimistic (yes, you read that right!).

i recommend that no matter how 'meh' you are on the hire, you take the time to listen to the presser at some point over the next few weeks. definitely a breath of fresh air listening to someone talk without being stoned & saying umm 1000 times (i know, pot meet kettle or wahtever)

sully on finding a QB: "if you can help it, don't wait until you don't have a QB to find one... always doing what's best for the team even when it's not popular." "the QB position is the most important in sports. we're going to invest in that position every year if we can...if not, every other."

hafley on how the offense should look: "i want to take a close look at what we have & make sure we fit that & give our best players a chance to succeed... there are core beliefs that i believe in like running the ball & being physical... even when they know we're going to run the ball."
