I really, really, really like Mansoor Delane (LSU) and Jermod McCoy (Tennessee), but I think my favorite corner in the class is Aveion Terrell (Clemson). Three year starter at the same school, 39 GP, 25 PDs, 3 picks, 8 FF, 3 FR, 4 sacks. Plays like Trent McDuffie, a Tasmanian Devil.

I see it's being reported now so I can end my silence, but Austin Clark is back, too. Clark's one of the best position coaches in football. Critical to keep him for Y2 of Grant/Phillips/Biggers. This is the fourth new DC to retain him - tells you all you need to know.

The argument that Haf is just hiring his buddies goes out the window by retaining Joe Barry. Haf replaced Barry in GB. Also, Barry is one of the best humans in this business and his players love him. Great teacher, shows his love for everyone in the building.

Watching Colton Hood (TEN CB) and double dipping on Taylen Green while doing so... but Arkansas RB Mike Washington jumps off the tape. Downhill style with good zone feel. I always like adding to the RB room on Day 3 because your chances of finding a contributor at that position is always higher.

Done watching SAFs for the draft/FA (for now). Really good year to need safety help. If you want to spend a bunch you can get Jaquan Brisker, Kam Curl, or Coby Bryant, or you can get a mid-level steal like Nick Cross or Jalen Thompson, can go bargain with Ar'Darius Washington. Good draft class, too

Also, Coby Bryant (Seahawks). What a fuckin baller. Again, money is tight, but both Brisker and Bryant make a lot of sense in the world that Miami can't land Malik Willis. Both entering their prime, temperature changing type of personalities, three-level skill set. Pair that with Minkah, please.

Also, if we had any money, Jaquan Brisker could be Xavier McKinney for Sully/Haf all over again.

Football twitter is so funny, man. When I watch free agents I like to go through situational reels, watch a game or two then search Twitter to see any film breakdowns. I type in Jaquan Brisker and it's just Bears fans calling him a bum - a top 10 safety and they hate him lol.

Why is every technology update basically just "remember that button that you've clicked 4,794 times and have a muscle memory for where it is? Yeah, we moved it just enough to make it super annoying for you. Enjoy the changes!"

I love the Toledo safety (Emmanuel McNeil-Warren). Long, rangy, sprints to the pile, outstanding insticts to feel route concepts and cut them off before they open up, rakes at the ball and takes it away… Haf talked about smart, tough players with sharp insticts, he checks all those boxes.

Do you ever listen to a podcast solely because you saw it in a post on social? Yes, this is me trying to figure out if social media serves me at all any more, even in my role.

Zion Young (Missouri Edge) looks like to me what Sully and Haf will want in Miami. His length is absurd. He gets into that sprinter's stance out at the wide-9 and is really tough to get hands on, and then at 262 he's super stout against the run. Big time intrigued.

Iowa's Gennings Dunker (played RT, could easily slot inside to guard) looks legit in every drill at the Senior Bowl. I think 11 is a bit rich, but that's a plug and play OL starter.

The Bills actually hired Joe Brady haha. OK, I need every Dolphins fan that was concerned about Sully making Hafley his guy to have that same energy towards the Bills taking a downgrade and hiring Josh Allen's buddy to coach the team.

I'm with ya. I think the perceived weakness of this class makes the case I made even stronger. If everyone is tripping over themselves trying to find the last blue chip at a premium pos, let's just pull a 2023 Lions and take Gibbs and Campbell, lock down 7+year all-pro talents and be done with it.

His promised approach to pour into his players, staff, support staff is so real. I felt it in the first two minutes. None of us have any idea how this will go, but we got a real one and I think that’s a good start.

Did 25 minute with Coach Hafley this morning (out later this week). Never been more impressed by a first impression with a coach. Now, he did play to his audience by complimenting my ball knowledge, but something tells me he knows how to connect with anyone on that type of level.

That is such a nice design, call, execution by Denver, you have to make that play in this spot though. I saw a lot of that when I watched Hafley’s defenses. Carry disguise through the reroute then get to your actual landmark. Hufanga looked like he was in man-trail, wound up the hole player.

The Packers defensive 3rd down reel under Jeff Hafley was a fuckin blast to watch on film. It's akin to No. 7 on this McVay principles sheet - they get to their core concepts, but it’s always dressed up/disguised in a different way.
