Broadly speaking, beginning. Because that applies to every book I pick up. But when it's one of those rare occasions where the book is truly excellent and I'm zooming through those final pages and can't hardly wait to see how it all ends, there's nothing better than finishing.

Day 16 of my ‘getting through January, vintage floral plates from books. Dorothy Perkins rose from Beautiful flowers and how to grow them 1909. The Dorothy Perkins rose was developed in 1901, named for the American nurseryman Charles Perkins’s granddaughter Dorothy.
