I like when comics have quiet moments. Romance comics are great for showcasing an artist's pure storytelling because they don't rely on big splashy punches. You have to make moments where people just sit and talk look interesting.

The "block early, block often" ethos is re-teaching people the importance of setting healthy boundaries online. We've been beaten over the head with "The internet is the Wild West and everything goes", but this has never been true. A basic level of respect applies online as it does in real life.

some advice when it comes to comics realistic lighting isnt always your best bet. While it can be used to show technical skill, it can in fact sometimes ruin the mood you are trying to convey. Study how film lights their scenes and characters to get a good grasp on mood lighting and such.
