Batteries are coming to Europe. Earlier this year Europeās largest battery storage site went live at Blackhillock, Scotland. The facility has a capacity of 300MW/600MWh. Much larger batteries are under development: A huge 1 GW / 4 GWh system is being constructed in JƤnschwalde, Germany.
