Today, we pause to remember all those who have died in service of our country, and expresses gratitude to the brave personnel who continue to serve. We must never forget the sacrifice and service of all those who defend our country and fought for our freedom.

A moving remembrance service in Stotfold this afternoon. Thank you to everyone involved in organising such a fitting tribute. We owe a huge debt to those who sacrificed so much in service of our country. I’m proud to represent a community committed to ensuring we remember them.

Great to speak to Rep Jimmy Gomez tonight about how the Congressional Dads Caucus has led the way on parent focused politics stateside! Plenty we can learn in the UK on the importance of progressives owning the issues that matter to dads and their families.

It’s clear in the age of smartphones we need to do more to protect young people from the harms they can bring to their education and wider wellbeing. It was great to meet with the inspiring Esther Ghey and leading professionals in Parliament this week to discus the case for change.

Speaking to local children with SEND and their families, it’s clear if we want to create truly inclusive mainstream schools then our curriculum and assessment review will be crucial. So today I again pressed the need for assessment and SEND reforms to work hand in hand 🤝

Am glad the Government has listened to representations from myself, the NFU, local farmers and others to extend the Countryside stewardship scheme ✅ This will support more than 5,000 farmers to continue their vital activities to restore nature and farm sustainably 🚜
