New Year, New Name, Same Pod. Apparently there are a lot of “Top 100” podcasts for all sorts of topics (who knew?) so we’re having a minor rebrand to try and connect with more listeners who love cinema as much as we do.

I could quite happily watch a new Knives Out mystery every Christmas for the rest of time. Highlights for WAKE UP DEAD MAN include O'Connor's empathic faith pitted against the combative religion of his hypocritical flock. Loved it.

This is everything I love in a Top 100 episode. A deep dive into the themes and technical aspects of the film, along with the historical and cultural context, but with a breezier tone than I've just made out (if I can understand it, then anyone can).
