Fuck KOSA, fuck the SCREEN Act, fuck IODA, and fuck all these other anti-queer censorship bills that want to silence and erase our existence under the guise of "protecting the kids".

Why would there be friction? It's regarding one of, if not the most controversial provision in KOSA: "Duty of Care." House GOP wants it out, but Blackburn and House Democrats on the relevant committee want it to remain in the bill. Cruz is on the fence on which side to take.

This package deal has been in the works since the summer, and we don't know every bill that will be included (up to 12 bills). Some House Committee members hope this package deal will get key House GOP to drop their opposition to KOSA. However, there will be friction between both chambers.

The Senate Judiciary Committee is holding a hearing on KOSA on December 9th (originally scheduled November 18th). Also, KOSA is being included in a package of dangerous bills (COPPA 2.0, Sammy's Law, App Store Accountability Act, etc.). Contact your Senators and Representatives ASAP!
