So from what I remember I was 12 back then, on the way back from an hospital appointment I picked this up from my LCS. After a long absence it was really good seeing Savage Hulk back, this is top tier storytelling from Peter David and Dale Keown.

Bill Bixby is still the BEST (David) Bruce Banner actor ever. He brought total conviction, dignity and tragedy to the role. He never phoned it in or hammed it up. Like Christopher Reeve made us believe a man could fly, Bill Bixby was totally a man you wouldn't want to make angry.

I've got this one as a trade but also it was also reprinted as a Batman mini series Shadow of the Batman, the cover by Rogers are gorgeous. One the rare times I double dipped on getting a comic.
