Just guessing here, but I suspect the White House is pushing so hard for wars of conquest on multiple fronts because they see their support collapsing ahead of the midterms and worry they won't get another shot. An example of how tyrants become more dangerous as they get weaker, not less.

For anyone who has been impressed with our mayor, who forcefully demands that ICE get the fuck out of our city: he went on Fox yesterday to announce that he does *not* support abolishing ICE, an agency that didn’t even exist until after 9/11. This is not a serious person. Do not be taken in.

This poll shows that 74% of Democrats support abolishing ICE, with 53% *strongly* supporting getting rid of the agency. Any elected Democrat who wants ICE to exist is outside the mainstream of their party and the people they purport to represent.

No family should have to choose between keeping a roof over their heads and risking being permanently separated from their loved ones by masked ICE agents. Minneapolis needs an immediate eviction mortarium to keep our neighbors in their homes and safe from ICE.

Thousands showed up at the vigil for Renee Nicole Good, a Minneapolis resident who was murdered by ICE. Minnesotans joined in solidarity against ICE violence and to recognize the profound loss of Renee. The DSA demands justice for Renee.

The shooting today comes at a critical moment in negotiations on the fiscal year 2026 DHS budget.

ICE’s public violence should be a reminder that they commit brutal acts in private facilities too. Every report has been horrific and we only have the smallest glimpse into the horrors.

A teenage boy was abducted outside my house by ICE agents. They smashed his car window and pulled him out.

Mpls metro is occupied by ICE. Within 2 min they are abducting people from bus stops, cars, work—outside schools now, & hospital workers are now speaking out about their presence. It's is not enough time to verify identity, much less anything else. It is racial profiling & it is cruel & barbaric.

Whatever one thought of it in the moment it's clear that a wide swath of Saint Paul residents have given SPPD a lot of good faith assumptions during an era when policing is under greater scrutiny. And I think today is gonna mark a major shift in that sentiment for a significant chunk of citizens.
