Thomas and Friends really is a beautiful show and I am tired of pretending it's a "dumb children's show." It's not. It's a genuinely well-written and crafted work of art that stood the test of time. I think the reason why some adults would even say that is cos they are thinking of the HIT Era T&F

One thing I personally love about the classic series is the verying tone of genre. Some episodes were slice of life comedies, some where morality tales, some where dark, existential stories, some had horror, some had mystery, some had wholesome moments that made you feel good about being alive.

I hope the upcoming Thomas and Friends movie directed by Marc Forester is good. I trust him as a director since Christopher Robin was a good movie and he seems to be passionate enough to contribute ideas to a story he can familiarize himself with.
