Empathy is a virtue, folks. Anyone who tries to say that there’s something wrong with empathy needs to reevaluate their code of ethics.

I keep thinking about how terrible it is that so many people will be losing their health insurance in January due to costs and cuts. 1. A landmark study was just published in The Journal of Pediatrics. It found a 68% reduction in suicidality for trans youth getting HRT. It also found only 7 of more than 400 stopped taking HRT... and of those that did, 4 still identified as gender-diverse. Transgender care saves lives.

If you say 'heteronormative' or 'unhoused person' or 'food insecurity' you're basically talking gibberish and nobody can understand you but if you say you can see inflammation in children at the airport and that vaccines lower IQ or that germs are a myth you get to fire all the scientists.
