5 years ago today, Pandemic Year. It had been a month since I opened my "side project" (lol) cat rescue in the spare room of my flat in London. I saw an ad for a male kitten with "balance & walking problems" who urgently needed a home. And so it began. HAPPY SMOL PAUL DAY!

So, I need to find a driver to help me move a dishwasher to my flat. I need volunteers to help move my fridge from my kitchen to the hall cupboard and lift it on top of the freezer. Then I'll need a plumber to come and put pipes in place for the dishywashy. So, yeah, aaaaaaaahhhhhh!

So. Dishwasher update. It keeps throwing the same error and, when I checked it today, the float in the anti-flood device has a crack in it. So now I'm eyeballing a second hand one on gumtree and having a bit of a flail at how much I'll need to do to get it in and fitted.

I bought a cooker this month so i'm less able to chip in than usual. If you have spare pennies and want to donate on my behalf, that'd be much appreciated.

I had to lie down, after messing with the dishwasher for a couple of hours. It is now five hours later and I'm unlikely to sleep tonight.

In burnout and not doing good. Which is why now is the best (i.e. worst) possible time for the dishwasher to crap out on me. I've opened it up and I think I've found the problem. Tomorrow will be a trip to screwfix coz I really really can't today.
