Throwing a brick through the window of a hotel housing asylum seekers in Falkirk is absolutely despicable. People who fled war and persecution deserve to live in safety, not fear. Words have consequences - it’s time for politicians who spread hate to reflect on that.

Very worthwhile read from @ddonnelly.bsky.social I was 19 when we started our work in 2015 & back then there was a widespread, damaging culture of silence & avoidance of teaching about LGBT people. Took a lot of effort to shift that. Now teachers are backed by policy & guidance. We won’t go back.
