EIS ULA members at RGU are now undergoing a statutory re-ballot to extend the strike mandate to maintain pressure on RGU management and force them to commit to halting cuts to academic numbers. The EIS believes that obtaining another strike mandate is the best way to maintain pressure on RGU

EIS ULA members’ decision to strike is a last resort but members have been left with no alternative as neither university has sought to resolve its redundancies dispute.
