Alright everyone, this is Oona. She isn’t officially mine yet but she comes in, naps, and eats here. She still likes to wander the complex some and she’s not really 100% cool with my dog so we’re taking our time. With winter coming I think she may stay. She’s very sweet but has a kick to her.

I really want to do something for the people in my community. I’m thinking of putting together Dollar Tree dinner bags and putting them in some of the local blessing boxes. I don’t have much but I can spare some time and a little money.

So I’ve been through multiple costume ideas for Halloween. Due to limited funds I’ve landed on aging demon hipster chick from Scott Pilgrim. I bought a couple white tanks and some fishnet tights. I have a black tulle skirt and some boots. It’s a little slap dash but I think it’ll work.

Kiddo is over for a rare weekday visit during fall break. We ordered McDonald’s (his choice). I got a free Big Mac. It was so gross. Never again. At least he seems happy.

You know what sucks about being American? Besides the obvious stuff. It’s that you work for a paycheck that comes every two weeks and in a matter of two hours it’s gone because the cost of living is so high. It’s extremely disheartening.

My boss didn’t give me a new case today in the spirit of giving me a break. It’s 7:42pm on a weekday that isn’t Friday. I miss working. It keeps the negative thoughts at bay.

I haven’t bought any beef in at least a month to cook with. The last time I had beef was two weeks ago in my soba noodle stir fry from a restaurant. I know not a big deal to most but it’s amazing to me how much I don’t miss it. I still eat chicken and pork so nobody get too excited.

When you decide that random chili you are cooking at 10pm on a Tuesday needed 3 chipotle peppers but you live in a small apartment.

I need to write my DR for work but I’m having writer’s procrastination. I also have a headache and I need this report to be good.

My apartment complex sprays for bugs approximately once a month or so. It is the bane of Mario’s existence. He has spent a solid 10 minutes after the guy left low ball growling.

I took a lazy day of laying on my couch, eating homemade guacamole with chips, and napping. And this evening I’ve never been more stressed out about it. I vacuumed more floor and shampooed it to compensate.

Taylor Swift wants to be a trad wife and a business lady. Hasn’t she really been saying this all along? That’s her business. Just like it’s your business if choose to spend your money on it. I think she has a lot of talent but right now that’s not her priority.

I've had a really good weekend. I had a good time with a friend and her kids yesterday at the kiddos' band competition. Then my boy came over today, and we had the best day together, just hanging out and watching Stranger Things for the millionth time. I miss him.

I filled out divorce papers today. I only minorly feel ill. Not because I don’t want to get divorced but because I had to deconstruct my marriage for the state of Indiana and big brother bugs me.

Also my laundry is magic. Now Mario is sleeping in the folded bits I haven’t put away yet.

Final feeling after finishing? Toni Collette was under used, the plot felt weak, and the ending was not satisfying. Overall really disappointed.
