is making up math here. There are roughly 300 intersections on the UWS or ~2,400 potential daylighting spots, many of which are already bus stops or fire hydrants.

Hear me out here - by killing the open street on Vanderbilt, it became less of a destination and the neighborhood can't support restaurants like that if it's not a destination

Passing Intro 1138 will get us there by mandating universal daylighting citywide & that 1,000 intersections are hardened each year!
