@nyc-dot.bsky.social is making up math here. There are roughly 300 intersections on the UWS or ~2,400 potential daylighting spots, many of which are already bus stops or fire hydrants. @galeabrewer.bsky.social got some bad information. Why are we bean counting street safety in the first place?

Hear me out here - by killing the open street on Vanderbilt, it became less of a destination and the neighborhood can't support restaurants like that if it's not a destination
