My solution to all things is peas. Making rice? Chuck in some peas. Making bolognese? Add peas. 2 min ramen? Peas will cut the sodium 🤷🏽♀️

The crucible. That sparked so many conversations with a friend of mine that she gave me a copy of it at the end of the year with key quotes handwritten at the start. I still have it and we’re still friends 💝

One thing that AI evangelists seem to assume, particularly legal AI evangelists assume, is that the thinking and analysis is quick, and the writing is just tedious busywork that slows us down. But the writing IS the thinking and analysis. You work out the thinking and analysis by writing it down.

Your friendly therapist reminder to do something today that moves the needle, no matter how slight, towards the world you want to see. Donate a few bucks to a gofundme or mutual aid. Research ways to get involved in a cause that aligns with you. Have that conversation with someone. Move your body.

In 2026, I want one thing – a kidney donated from a living donor for my partner. I've lost sleep over whether I should post this – it's a massive ask. Sometimes I wonder if it's asking too much? But the reality is that I'm unable to donate my kidney, and he has zero family who are in the position
