'Many #ClimatePolicies Struggle to Cut Emissions' reports the @nytimes.com on new PIK study. The most effective policies tend to combine several emissions-cutting strategies (paywall!). www.nytimes.com/2024/08/22/c...

🆕Evaluation of #climatepolicy over 2 decades: A global PIK study of 1,500 #climatepolicies, published in the journal Science, shows most failed to cut emissions. Only 63 cases saw a 19% average reduction. The key? Tax & price incentives in smart policies. www.pik-potsdam.de/en/news/late...
