Marcus Mumford is a guy I would listen sing the phone book. Is Delta the most underrated Mumford album? It’s big in scope, great instrumentation and just well produced. Check this track out. Just gorgeous.

The Kyle Tucker situation is FASCINATING. I think at the end of June, I could see a world where he potentially commanded the $40M a year he wanted. I think that is a tough sell now. Will his health deteriorate interest in long contracts AND especially with a labor lockout looming in ‘27?

I think a Brewers Mariners World Series would be cruel to those fan bases, but a Cubs/Cleveland series in ‘16 was pretty cruel as well.

Also, Cubs pitching was fine. Hard to win ballgames with 4 hits and one inning with runners in scoring position.

This Cubs season ends with a 3-1 loss to the Brewers in Game 5 of the NLDS. All four runs in tonight's game came on solo homers. Cubs pitchers couldn't finish off at-bats/innings as the Brewers' three homers all were with 2 outs. The opportunity Cubs wasted in the top of the 6th inning will sting.

I think the Cubs need a reality check. I think the talent is there for Tucker, but maybe you supplement around Cassie/Ballesteros/Shaw. Flex your financial might. What the Brewers are doing with less is impressive. Not saying they aren’t talented, but the development is unreal.

That could be the end of the Kyle Tucker era in Chicago. What a weird ride it was if it is.
