One highlight of the meeting at Hanover was meeting Omar @softmatterlab.bsky.social and sharing my thoughts on AI and automation for research. Still current, even a year after with amazing progress in the field.

My primary thought right now is to keep focusing on fundamentals and on being open and nimble to learn and re-skill as new tools and approaches emerge.
