In 1997, Jed Hoyer was an admissions officer at Kenyon College and I was a high school senior. After he did my admissions interview for what became my alma mater, he confided that he wanted to some day get a job working in baseball. Apparently, it worked.

This Friday is the 25th anniversary of Baseball Reference! The website went online in April 2000, after first being launched that February. To commemorate this anniversary, Baseball Reference founder & president Sean Forman is hosting an AMA on r/baseball on February 7th at 11:30am ET.

It appears that "gender ideology" is defined by the present administration as trans and non-binary people being able to check on a form that they exist. To my trans and non-binary friends and anyone else whom this reaches, you exist and I see you.
