Yesterday SteamDB exposed an early release version of PC Dark Souls 2, internally called Stable_10_0_FRPG2_Title. This release is dated March 8th 2014, which is one week before the PS3 title release and one month and a half before the PC. It does not have arxan, and can load engine config files.

Just finished Silksong! What a terrific game. I was pleasantly surprised by how different it feels from Hollow Knight, in both tone and gameplay. Hornet adds so much personality, and the game has its own unique voice and style that Hollow Knight was really lacking.

As much as I enjoyed Hollow Knight, it very much felt like you were playing a mashup of ten games that the creators really loved. I'm only about five hours in to Silksong, but it already has much more of its own unique voice and I enjoy that a lot.

I cannot gush enough about how much I love Clair Obscur. It is the best game I have played in years. It is a videogame dripping with love for videogames, that loves being a videogame, and you should play it.

To add onto this, the Old Monk was the only level range formula in a souls game to not scale with your level in any way. In other words, no "%" part of the formula. You could be invaded by anyone between 40 levels lower and 10 levels higher than you. Eg, lvl 100 host was open to invaders 60-110.

It's good when the games are good. Or... extremely bad, that can be good, too.

Yuuku preserved King's Field Mobile, a previously-lost King's Field i-mode game. A retelling of the PS1 original, it has different map layouts and an auto-map. For a real-time 3D 2004 keitai game, it's very ambitious. There's already an English patch too!

This is why you should never be one of those people constantly asking for a sequel. I am much, much more interested in playing this than I ever would be in playing a Bloodborne 2.

Working on harpies some more for today's #NightmareKart dev thread! Their navigation has been vastly improved. They are better at chasing down targets and matching their speed via a soft attach system, making them much easier to shoot via power ups, check it out!

When I uploaded YouTube videos in 2016 it would ask me what type of content I was publishing and what groups I wanted to reach. When I uploaded one in 2025 it asked me if I had any copyrighted content, what type of monetization I wanted, and what type of ads I should run.
