Highlight of the week may have been learning about the Belgian seagulls that mysteriously made a 50 mile trip inland once a day, only to find out that their destination was a potato chip factory. Can relate!

A special tribute to Tom Mukhuyu, who retired today from the National Museums of Kenya. Tom was curator of hominins, looked after the vault, the fossils & all who studied them. His knowledge is legend, & his kindness, friendship and laughter enriched us all. I will miss him immensely ♥️.
