You'll note that there is zero talk of nationizing fossil fuel revenues for actual nation-building that benefits citizens (a la Norway), it's just corporate profit.

Can you blame them? No one taught us how to engage in politics in a healthy or useful way. I saw a person in this thread internalizing their miseducation and political ignorance as a virtue. Here and now would be a good place to advertise those politicians working for us and not billionaires.

It’s worse. People have broad disdain for politicians in general and no sense of what politicians working for them looks like. They will reflexively dismiss all politicians without judging them based on their career. And be unable to identify when politicians actively work against their interests.

I think people really do not have enough disdain for politicians.
