Excited to share my first piece for @nighttidemag.bsky.social, a months-long research project into the elusive etymology of the word "J-Horror." Diving into the enduring mystery of who coined the term for a genre that dominated 2000s horror was such a nerdy and enlightening thrill. Enjoy!

Filming was over super early today so I’m taking the afternoon to finish painting the kitchen and my god why are there so many edges 😭

There’s something about cutting a documentary that inherently wants to it be over 100 minutes.. I always try to cut to a solid 90 minutes run time for people’s sanity and it always gets pushed to 99/101.
