I definitely want to play the new Yoshi game eventually (too much to play atm). I really like that it's something new and it sounds like it's genuinely hard to figure out a lot of the secrets... like not difficulty in an action sense but in a thinky sense. Seems like a REALLY good chill game

Oof to this, esp the “draw for a target audience.” Draw what YOU want first, and don’t worry about an audience! Once you get to a point that you will attract one, people that like what YOU do will find you. Don’t preemptively censor yourself for fans that you don’t even have yet.

After playing Tropical Freeze for a bit and having played through a lot of Returns on 3DS years ago I still don't feel like Tropical Freeze holds a candle to DKC2 if just because of the gameplay feel/controls DKC2 feels like. Literally perfect. I can trust all of my jumps. It's 'easy' to control
