Spent the afternoon house hunting, because sometimes I like to plot an escape from the 9-5. I do love this house - I could fulfil my dream of one day becoming Granny Weatherwax. Also, no neighbours. Perfect.

This morning was rubbish so I’m having an overpriced Christmas hot chocolate and meditating on the fact that I probably need a new job. Or maybe a holiday.

It’s Bookshop Day so here’s a poem in celebration of all those amazing bookshops out there.

As it’s spooky season and the nights are drawing in, I thought I’d get cosy and do a re-read of the Merrily Watkins books. I’m up to book 4 so far and I still think that Jane’s a bloody annoying character. #BookSky

Today has been crap, but an hour weeding and tidying the veg patch in the sunshine after work has made me feel so much better. Nature is great.

Early morning gym session, veggie stew in the slow cooker (maybe some rice pudding later too), clean bed sheets, checked the veg patch to make sure the kale hasn't blown away, and now coffee and Only Murders in the Building. Not a bad Sunday so far.

Not read the books, but I enjoyed this. It was silly but fun.
