I really dislike the use of the word ‘edit’ when it comes to nature. It’s used a lot in garden design and always felt wrong to me. It plays into human dominance and control. Feeling even more wrong when discussing working with wildlife or natural habitat management.

It's alarming and sad that while the Labour Party this week have been announcing huge renewable energy plans that we've all been crying out for, the @greenparty.org.uk account hasn't even mentioned them - this isn't the Green Party I know

Let's hope Labour ministers who keep positioning nature as a problem for development change tact quickly - it is not only nonsense, it's a blatant lie that misses the real issues and alienates millions of voters.

It’s bonkers the Government isn’t ticking off these low hanging fruit. Like properly banning fox hunting by stopping fake trail hunts, banning the use of peat compost etc. They’re popular among a majority of the public and yet so far… nothing 🤷🏻‍♂️

Great to get down the Grow + Graze perennial edible garden with all the volunteers who’ve done a great job looking after it through winter. We planted five cultivated Hazel and some raspberry crowns from my allotment. Plus a lot of reducing couch grass! Can’t wait to see it all grow in spring.
