Last Friday our office was closed in support of the Day of Truth & Freedom general strike. Staff marched with 50,000 other Minnesotans in downtown Minneapolis. It was a day of inspiration and renewal. Then came Saturday morning. 1/

My show tonight (Clipse) was originally scheduled for the Armory, but got moved to Myth. A venue I legit didn’t think existed anymore.

An absolutely essential read about an overlooked leader of the Civil Rights Movement. I’d learned a lot about Miss Ella Baker from my other reading, but always as a secondary character. This book shows just how primary she was and how much she was doing in the background. Highly recommended.
