I've also put together a thread that specifically goes into the nitty-gritty of how to approach alt text for images of text on social media.

I'm not trying to be an ass, but alt text that does not include the actual text in a screenshot of text does not help the blind and low vision people that alt text is actually for. Please be accessible. Especially when it's so easy to copy and paste that stuff. Screen readers don't read the image.

Some have pointed out that the whole letter would have fit in the alt text window, so here is a version with the whole letter in alt text.
